Chef Dionne, of Zella's Soulful Kitchen, recently catered a lunch for our Baking Club, who helped fund her small business loan. She operates a hot and cold food counter in the Mandela Foods Cooperative, across from West Oakland BART. Over delicious salad and sandwiches, and amazing pecan bars, Chef Dionne talked to the bake club members about her love of cooking learned from her grandmother, and about starting a business.
